Privacy policy
Effective October 28, 2026
Baseline Bell is operated by Pierce Metcalfe. It helps tennis coaches and players organize lessons and hitting sessions. This policy covers the Baseline Bell website and iPhone application.
Information we use
- Account information: your email, authentication information and account ID.
- Profile information: your name, coach or player role, optional club and optional profile photo.
- Connections and scheduling: connection requests, profile invitation links, session participants, dates and times, location you enter, session type, responses, cancellations and court-booked status.
- Notifications: session updates, read status and delivery records. When you enable phone alerts, we also use a browser push subscription or an iPhone device token and installation ID to deliver them.
- Technical information: information such as IP addresses and request/device details processed by our hosting and service providers to operate and secure the service.
- Support: information you choose to include when you contact us.
Passwords are handled by Supabase Authentication. They are not displayed in profiles or shared with other users. To delete an account, we ask you to verify your password through our server.
Why we use it
We use information to sign you in, display your profile, connect users, arrange sessions, deliver service notifications, provide support and maintain the service. The current app does not include advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
What other people can see
Signed-in users can discover your name, role, club and photo when your profile is discoverable. You can turn discovery off in Edit profile. Existing connections and people with your profile invitation link may still see information needed to connect or arrange sessions.
Your personal calendar is not publicly browsable. Participants can see details of sessions they share with you. Your account email is not displayed in the app’s people directory.
Service providers and processing
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for authentication emails, and the Sites hosting platform for the website. Google Fonts serves typefaces used by the app interface and may receive technical connection information when those fonts load. Browser push providers and Apple Push Notification service process information needed to deliver enabled alerts.
Providers may process information outside your province or country. Their operational records and backups are subject to their service and retention arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and rights of users and the service.
Your choices
You can edit your name and optional club/photo, remove your photo, change discovery visibility and change your password. Notifications are optional. Disable alerts in Baseline Bell or change the relevant browser/iPhone notification permission.
Deleting your account
Open Edit profile → Delete account. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm. This removes the authentication account and related live records, including your profile, connections, notifications, registered notification devices and sessions involving you. Shared sessions will also disappear from other participants’ schedules. Coordinate upcoming sessions with those participants before deleting your account.
If you cannot access your account or want to ask about accessing or correcting your information, contact baselinebell@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Retention
We retain account and scheduling records while needed to provide the service, unless removed through available controls. We retain support correspondence as needed to address requests and related follow-up. Limited information may remain in provider backups, security logs or records retained for legal obligations under the applicable retention arrangements. Deletion from the live app does not mean every provider backup is immediately erased.
